Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we hear most about IPTV — legality, pricing, payments, devices, installation, streaming quality, countries, support, and more.
General IPTV
IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) delivers live channels and on-demand video over a regular internet connection instead of a satellite dish, cable line, or broadcast antenna. You watch through a player app — like IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate — on a streaming box, smart TV, phone, tablet, or computer rather than a dedicated cable box, and the same login travels with you to any of those devices.
Cable and satellite deliver a fixed signal to a fixed box at your address, installed by a technician. IPTV streams over the internet instead, so it works on any supported device without a dish or wall socket, and the same login works wherever you have a stable connection — at home, travelling, or on a second TV in another room.
Three things: a stable internet connection, a supported device (see our Devices page for the full list of 24+ compatible devices), and a player app like IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate loaded with your playlist or Xtream Codes login. Our Installation Center walks through the exact steps for each device, from Fire TV to smart TVs to phones.
Legality
IPTV is a technology, not a legal category by itself — the same way cable or satellite delivery isn't inherently legal or illegal. What matters is whether the service holds proper licensing for the content it distributes and whether your local laws restrict streaming from unlicensed sources. Legality varies by country and by provider, so it's worth checking the rules where you live before subscribing to any service; this isn't legal advice, just a starting point for your own research.
Pricing
We offer three flat-rate plans — 3, 6, and 12 months — with the price per month dropping the longer you commit, and the total scaling with how many screens stream at once. See our Pricing page for exact current rates, or use the interactive calculator there to see the price for your exact plan-and-screen-count combination before you reach out.
Yes — the 3-month plan exists exactly for this: the lowest-commitment option to confirm the service works well on your setup before moving to the better per-month rate on a 6- or 12-month plan. If you're unsure your device qualifies, check our Devices page first so the shorter plan isn't spent troubleshooting compatibility.
Payments
Cards (Visa, Mastercard), digital wallets (PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe), and crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT) — nine methods in total. You pick whichever works best for you on Checkout's Payment Method step, and our Payment Methods section on the homepage lists all nine with their icons if you want to check compatibility beforehand.
We never collect card details through a form on this site — there's no checkout page anywhere that asks you to type in a card number. Payment is arranged directly when you follow up with us, through whichever of the nine methods you choose, so the only thing this website ever asks for is your contact details and plan preference.
No account or password is required on this site. Our Checkout flow asks for your plan, country package, and screen count, then saves that as your order and sends it to WhatsApp or email — from there, we handle setup and payment directly with you, the same as reaching out through our Contact page.
No — it's a stated preference, not a charge. Selecting Visa, USDT, or any of the other eight methods on Checkout's Payment Method step just tells us how you'd like to pay, so we can follow up with the right instructions; nothing is actually charged until you complete payment directly with us afterward.
That's fine — mention it when we follow up, or note it in your WhatsApp message before sending. The payment method on Checkout is a starting point for the conversation, not a locked-in choice.
Devices & Compatibility
IPTV works on most modern streaming boxes, smart TVs, consoles, and phones — including Fire TV devices, Apple TV, Android TV, LG and Samsung smart TVs, Xbox, and iOS or Android phones and tablets. Our Devices page lists all 24+ supported devices individually, each linking to its own step-by-step setup guide in the Installation Center.
Most devices with a modern app store or sideloading support work fine even if not individually listed — the underlying player apps (IPTV Smarters Pro, TiviMate) run on a wide range of hardware beyond the ones we've written dedicated guides for. Check our Other Smart TVs device page for general guidance, or connect a Fire TV Stick or Chromecast to any HDMI TV as a reliable fallback that's guaranteed to work.
Often, yes — most current LG, Samsung, and Android TV/Google TV smart TVs can install a player app directly from their own app store or via sideloading, no separate streaming box required. Check our Devices page for your specific TV brand's setup path; older smart TVs without a modern app store are the main case where a Fire TV Stick or similar box becomes the simpler route.
You can install a player app on as many individual devices as you like — a TV, a phone, a tablet, a second home — with no limit on installs. What your plan actually limits is how many of those installs can stream at the exact same moment; see our connections FAQ answer for how that simultaneous-screen count works.
Countries
IPTV works anywhere with a stable internet connection, since it streams over the internet rather than a regional broadcast signal. Check our Countries section, which covers 20+ countries with setup notes and language coverage specific to each one, from the US and Canada through Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
The channel list itself is the same wherever you are — every subscription includes the full 25,000+ channel catalog, not a region-locked subset. What varies is which language content is most relevant to you locally; our Countries pages note the primary languages and regional viewing habits for each of the 20+ countries we cover.
Yes — a single subscription includes the full channel list, not a region-locked subset, so you can watch a UK sports channel and a US entertainment channel side by side rather than choosing just one country's lineup. Browse our Countries pages if you want to see what's typically watched from each region before you subscribe.
Country Packages
A single required choice on Checkout's Subscription step — USA, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Nordic, Arabic, Turkey, Africa, or Worldwide — representing which regional channel package your subscription is built around, alongside the same full 25,000+ channel and 60,000+ title library every plan already includes.
The broadest option — for customers who want international coverage rather than a single regional focus. Mention your specific viewing priorities when you reach out so we can confirm the details match what you're looking for.
Yes — contact us with your order reference and the package you'd like instead, and we'll help you switch, the same way we handle a plan-length or screen-count change.
Installation & Setup
Setup involves installing a player app (like IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate) and adding your playlist or Xtream Codes login — a process that typically takes 5-10 minutes. The exact steps vary by device, so our Installation Center groups every supported device with its own dedicated walkthrough rather than one generic guide.
An M3U playlist is a static file listing stream URLs, entered once into your player app. Xtream Codes is a login-based method — username, password, server URL — that delivers your channel list, EPG, and VOD library dynamically, so it updates automatically without you re-adding a file. Most player apps support both; our Installation Center's per-device guides show the exact entry fields for whichever one you're using.
No. Installing a player app on Fire TV or Android devices uses a standard, supported sideloading method through the free Downloader app — not jailbreaking or rooting, and not anything that voids a warranty. See our Downloader Codes page for the exact code to enter and how the process works step by step.
Most devices take about 5-10 minutes from installing the player app to watching your first channel. Our Installation Center groups every supported device with its exact guide, including a prerequisites list and common fixes for that specific device, so you're not guessing at the steps or hunting for a generic tutorial that doesn't quite match your hardware.
Streaming & Reliability
IPTV streams over your internet connection, so reliability depends primarily on your connection's speed and stability rather than weather or satellite line-of-sight. A stable broadband connection generally provides a smooth experience comparable to any other streaming service; a slow or unstable connection can cause buffering, which our buffering troubleshooting guide covers in detail if it happens to you.
A VPN isn't required to use the service, but some users choose one for general online privacy or if their network restricts certain types of streaming traffic. If you're unsure, start without one and add it later if you run into access issues — a VPN can occasionally add latency, so it's worth testing playback both with and without it if you do use one.
Buffering is almost always a network issue rather than a problem with the service itself — slow or congested Wi-Fi, ISP throttling, or a weak connection are the most common causes. Our buffering troubleshooting guide covers the full checklist, starting with the quickest fixes: switching to a 5GHz Wi-Fi band or a wired connection, and closing other devices streaming on the same network.
As a rough guide, around 10 Mbps is comfortable for HD streams, and 25+ Mbps gives 4K some headroom — though actual usage depends on how many screens are streaming from your household at once, since each simultaneous stream adds to the total. Our streaming-requirements guide covers this in more depth, including how to check your current speed.
Where the source content is available in 4K and your device and connection support it, yes — every plan includes access up to 4K/FHD/HD quality, whatever the specific stream provides, with no separate 4K tier or upcharge. Actual resolution still depends on your device's own decoding capability and your connection speed, so a slower line may default to a lower quality automatically.
A wired Ethernet connection is generally more stable than Wi-Fi, especially for 4K or multiple simultaneous screens, since it avoids Wi-Fi interference and congestion entirely. Wi-Fi works fine for most setups too, as long as the signal to your streaming device is strong — our buffering troubleshooting guide has a full section on diagnosing which one is causing an issue.
Channels & Content
Every plan includes the same 25,000+ live channel list — there's no smaller, cheaper tier with fewer channels. See our Channels page for the categories covered, including Sports, News, Entertainment, and Kids & Family, each with its own dedicated section listing real channel names.
Yes — every plan includes the same 60,000+ title on-demand movies & series library alongside the live channels, in one place rather than a separate add-on or higher tier. It sits inside the same player app as your live channels, so there's no second app or second login to manage.
Yes, sports channels are part of the standard live channel list, not a separate paid tier — that includes football, American football, basketball, baseball, hockey, combat sports, and motorsport coverage. See our Sports page for the full category breakdown and which leagues are typically covered in each.
Most player apps that support Xtream Codes logins (like IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate) display a full electronic program guide alongside the channel list, showing what's currently airing and what's coming up next, channel by channel. An M3U-only setup typically won't include this — see our M3U-vs-Xtream-Codes FAQ answer for that difference if you're deciding which to use.
Screens & Connections
That depends on your plan's connection count — 1 to 4 simultaneous streams, chosen on the Pricing page, where the total price updates automatically as you change it. This is separate from how many devices you've installed the app on; see our device-install FAQ answer for that distinction if you're comparing the two.
Yes — contact us if your household's needs change and we can adjust your connection count going forward, typically taking effect from your next renewal rather than mid-plan. If you're not sure how many screens you'll actually need at once, our Pricing page's calculator lets you compare the cost across 1 through 4 before you decide.
Yes, as long as the number of screens streaming simultaneously stays within your plan's connection count — one person on the living room TV and another on a tablet, for example, both count toward that same limit. If your household regularly needs more than your current plan covers, our connections FAQ answer above explains how to change it.
Getting Access
Most customers receive their login details (username, password, server URL, or an M3U link) within a few minutes after payment confirmation — a real person sets it up directly, not an automated queue. If it's taking longer than that, contact us again via WhatsApp or email and we'll assist you promptly.
Your order — plan, country package, screen count, and payment method — is saved and reaches us directly through WhatsApp or email, whichever you chose on the final step. A real person reviews it, confirms payment with you through one of our nine accepted methods, and sends your login details once everything's set up; see our activation-timing FAQ answer above for how long that usually takes.
No sign-up flow or password to remember on this site — you reach out with your details through Checkout or our Contact page, we set up access on our side, and send you a login (username, password, and server URL, or an M3U link) to enter into your player app. That login itself is the only credential you'll need going forward.
Yes. If you chose WhatsApp, you're taken straight into a pre-filled conversation with your order reference already in it. If you chose email, we send a confirmation to your inbox summarizing your order, and you land on a confirmation page either way — with your order reference and a WhatsApp button in case you'd rather follow up there instead.
Checkout
You're taken straight to Checkout with that exact plan already selected — no extra click needed to find it again. From there, Checkout walks you through country package, screen count, and payment method before a final review step, and your plan choice carries through the whole way.
Only once you actually send it — Checkout holds your in-progress selections in the page itself, not in a database, until you press "Send via WhatsApp" or "Send my order" on the final step. Closing the tab before then means starting over; nothing incomplete gets saved on our side.
A unique ID (like ORD-10025) generated the moment your order is saved — it's included in your WhatsApp message, your confirmation email, and the confirmation page, and it's the fastest way for us to find your request if you contact us again about it.
Yes — the Back button on every step after the first returns you to the previous one without losing what you already entered, so you can adjust your country package, screen count, or payment method choice before sending your order.
Account
No — there's no sign-up, login, or password anywhere on this site. Checkout collects your order, we set up your IPTV login separately, and that IPTV login (for your player app) is the only credential involved anywhere in the process.
There's no self-service order-tracking page — message us on WhatsApp or reply to your confirmation email with your order reference, and we'll give you a real status update directly.
Yes — contact us with your order reference and what needs correcting (a typo'd email, the wrong screen count, whatever it is) and we'll update it before setting up your access.
Support
Message us directly on WhatsApp, email our support address from the Contact page, or send a message through our Checkout flow — whichever is most convenient for you. All three routes reach the same real support team, so use whichever channel you already have open.
Yes — real people are available on chat around the clock, including outside normal business hours, since streaming issues (a channel going down mid-match, for instance) don't wait for business hours either. WhatsApp tends to get the fastest response if your issue is time-sensitive.
Start with our Installation Center, which groups every supported device with its exact setup guide, including a common-fixes section for problems specific to that device. If you're still stuck after following the guide, contact support directly and describe your device and exactly where the steps stopped working.
Troubleshooting
Try closing and reopening the app, restarting your device, and checking for an app update in its store. If it still crashes, reinstalling the player app usually resolves a corrupted install without affecting your login details — you'll just re-enter the same Xtream Codes or M3U info you already have.
First check your internet connection on another device to rule out a general outage. If only specific channels are affected, try restarting the player app or re-adding your playlist; if the whole list seems affected instead, our buffering troubleshooting guide has the full step-by-step checklist for narrowing down the cause.
Contact support with the name or email you used when you signed up, and we'll resend your login details (username, password, server URL, or M3U link) directly to you. There's no self-service password reset since there's no account system to reset in the first place — a real person handles this directly.
Security
Using a player app to stream over the internet carries no more inherent risk than any other streaming app, as long as you install apps from official sources — the Amazon Appstore, Google Play, or the Downloader app for sideloading — rather than an unfamiliar third-party file from outside those channels. Our Downloader Codes page covers the official sideloading process specifically.
IPTV is just internet traffic to your ISP, the same as any other streaming service — it doesn't require special permission, port forwarding, or a different kind of internet plan. See our legality FAQ answer for the separate question of content licensing, which is a different topic entirely from your ISP connection and worth understanding on its own terms.
That's a personal choice about general online privacy, not something IPTV specifically requires — see our VPN-for-access FAQ answer if you're weighing it for a different reason. If privacy from your ISP seeing your traffic matters to you, a reputable VPN is a reasonable general-purpose tool, same as it would be for any other online activity.
Subscriptions
Yes — contact us before your current plan ends and we'll apply the remaining time toward the new one, so you're not paying twice for overlapping days. This is a separate question from changing your screen count, which our connections FAQ answer covers if that's what you're actually after.
Access simply stops working once your plan period is over — there's no auto-renewal charge without you reaching out first, since there's no stored payment method to charge automatically in the first place. Contact us before or after it ends whenever you're ready to renew, and your next plan starts fresh from there.
Billing
A one-time payment for a fixed term — 1, 6, or 12 months, whichever plan you choose. There's no automatic recurring charge: access simply stops working when your plan period ends, and you decide if and when to renew by reaching out again.
US dollars (USD), for every plan and every country package — the price shown on Pricing and in Checkout is the full amount, with no separate currency conversion step or regional markup.
Your order confirmation (WhatsApp message or email) summarizes what you ordered and the total, which covers most record-keeping needs. Since payment itself happens directly through whichever method you chose rather than through this site, a formal payment receipt would come from that payment method's own record — ask us directly if you need something specific for your records.
Refunds
Refund terms are set out in full on our Refund Policy page. If you're unsure whether the service will work for your setup, check device compatibility on our Devices page first — most setup issues can be resolved with the right guide from our Installation Center before you'd need to request a refund at all.
