Before you start
- An iPhone or iPad running a recent version of iOS/iPadOS
- An Apple ID signed in on the device
- Your playlist URL or Xtream Codes username, password, and server URL
Steps
Open the App Store
Open the App Store app on your iPhone or iPad.
Search for a player app
Search for "IPTV Smarters Pro" or "GSE Smart IPTV" and select the official listing.
Install the app
Tap Get (or the price button) and authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your Apple ID password.
Open the app and log in
Open the app, choose your login method, and enter your M3U playlist URL or Xtream Codes username, password, and server URL.
Confirm channels play back
Tap a channel to confirm playback works, and check that your EPG populates if the app supports it.
Troubleshooting
Playback pauses when the app goes to the background
This is standard iOS behavior for most apps unless they specifically support background audio — keep the app in the foreground during playback, or check the app's settings for a background playback option if offered.
Video quality looks worse over mobile data than Wi-Fi
Some player apps cap stream quality on mobile data to save bandwidth by default — check the app's playback or data-usage settings for a quality override if you're on an unlimited plan.
