Before you start
- A Windows 10 or 11 PC with an internet connection
- Your playlist URL or Xtream Codes username, password, and server URL
Steps
Choose your app: IPTV Smarters Pro or VLC
IPTV Smarters Pro gives you the same full interface as its TV and mobile versions. VLC, likely already installed, works for basic playback with no extra download.
Option A: Install IPTV Smarters Pro
Download IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows from its official website, install it, then open it and enter your playlist or Xtream Codes login details.
Option B: Use VLC
Open VLC, go to Media → Open Network Stream, and paste your M3U playlist URL directly into the network URL field, then click Play.
Confirm playback works
Play a channel to confirm smooth video and audio.
Save the setup for next time
In IPTV Smarters Pro your login is saved automatically. In VLC, use Media → Save Playlist to keep the M3U for quick access without re-entering the URL.
Troubleshooting
VLC opens but shows a blank/black screen
Update VLC to the latest version — older versions sometimes fail on modern stream formats. Also confirm your playlist URL was pasted without extra whitespace at the start or end.
IPTV Smarters Pro won't install (SmartScreen warning)
This is a standard Windows warning for apps outside the Microsoft Store — as long as you downloaded the installer from the app's official website, select "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed.
