Before you start
- An Xbox One or Xbox Series console connected to Wi-Fi or Ethernet
- A Microsoft account signed in on the console
- Your playlist URL or Xtream Codes username, password, and server URL
Steps
Open the Microsoft Store
From the Xbox home screen, open the Microsoft Store app.
Search for a player app
Search for an IPTV player app compatible with M3U or Xtream Codes (several UWP apps in this category are available for Xbox).
Install the app
Select the app's listing and choose Install/Get.
Open the app and enter your login details
Launch the app and enter your M3U playlist URL or Xtream Codes username, password, and server URL using your Xbox controller or a connected keyboard.
Confirm channels play back
Select a channel to confirm playback works smoothly.
Troubleshooting
Typing a long server URL with a controller is slow
Connect a USB or Bluetooth keyboard to your Xbox, or use the Xbox Accessories app's remote text entry — both are much faster than the on-screen controller keyboard for a long Xtream Codes URL.
The app closes unexpectedly during playback
Check for a pending app or system update in the Microsoft Store and Xbox settings — UWP app crashes on Xbox are often resolved by installing the latest available update.
